Meet Smokey! This handsome 9-month-old Akita/Pit mix came to us as one of 11 puppies from an accidental litter. Smokey can be a little nervous when he first meets new people, but give him a little time and you'll see his sweet personality shine. Once he's comfortable, he greets you with happy tappy feet and a very wiggly body, showcasing all his puppy enthusiasm. As a young dog still learning about the world, he’ll thrive in a home that values patience and positive experiences. With the right introductions, he may do well with other dogs and older children. If you want a fun-loving, goofy puppy who just needs a bit of time to blossom, Smokey could be the perfect match for you! Smokey is available for foster to adopt for families living within 30 minutes of our shelter while we finalize his medical.
