About Raven

Raven is an affectionate and playful 2.5-year-old spayed female Retriever mix, currently located in Texas but ready for a new adventure in her forever home. At around 47 pounds, she brings a big personality and plenty of energy. She thrives in an active environment and loves to play with other dogs, especially those around 66-70 lbs. However, she can become overstimulated while on a leash, so a patient adopter is necessary to help her refine her leash manners. Once she trusts you, Raven is incredibly loving and enjoys being around her people. Although she can be wary of new experiences and may bark when frightened, she just needs time to adjust. Her foster describes her as "a lot of fun," and with a little guidance, she can grow into an even greater companion. Raven needs a spacious home where she can run freely, such as a farm or property with land. While she can be destructive when left unsupervised, she’s made progress in crate training and enjoys playtime with her toys. Car rides are still somewhat intimidating for her, but she's learning. If you’re looking for a clever, fun-loving buddy and are ready to invest the energy into making her the best she can be, Raven may be your next best friend! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
