About Theodore
Theodore, affectionately known as Theo, is a delightful 7-month-old Chihuahua mix currently located in Texas. This playful and affectionate boy, weighing about 22 pounds, has a big personality that shines through in his zoomies and knack for fun. With a history of being part of a large rescue, he’s had to learn the ropes and is thriving in his foster home in Houston. Theo loves to engage in activities like chasing his dog friends and playing tug-of-war. While he can be a bit nervous around new dogs and people, he is not aggressive and simply needs time to feel secure. He has shown he can get along well with dogs up to 40 pounds and has even interacted positively with children over five years old, including those with special needs. As an energetic puppy, Theo is in the process of refining his potty training skills—he can hold it through the night but needs regular opportunities during the day. While he struggles a bit with crate training, progress is being made. He is curious, loves exploring, and adores toys, so expect a playful buddy who might occasionally ‘borrow’ your favorite shoe. Theo is looking for an active family that understands a puppy’s needs for training, socialization, and regular exercise. If you’re willing to help him learn and grow, Theo promises to be a loyal companion eager to fill your life with joy. Click apply to start the adoption process.
