About Lilly
Lilly came to LowCountry Animal Rescue after her loving owner passed away. She’s thought to be a Himalayan mix around 11 years old. Currently in medical foster care, Lilly is getting caught up on vaccinations and awaiting results for her senior blood panel while also treating her feline ceremonious cystomatosis, which leads to benign cysts in her ears. Our vet recommends managing the inflammation for now, as anesthesia could be risky at her age. This sweet cat enjoys head scritches, loves to be brushed, and appreciates affection, though she prefers not being held or carried for long. You’ll often find her napping in cozy corners or lounging on the cool tile floor, content with life. Lilly's long, fine fur requires daily brushing, something she relishes. She is also in need of daily ear care, including eardrops and cleanings. While Lilly does have a little quirk—she tends to pee just outside of her litter box—it's easily managed with pee pads. She uses the box for her other business. Lilly came to the rescue with her son, Mags. Although they are fond of one another, they aren't bonded, so adopting together isn’t necessary. Please remember, adoptions are limited to a 2-hour radius of the Tri-County area, and exceptions may be made for seniors or hard-to-place animals. Her adoption fee is waived, as she comes fully vetted, including spay, vaccinations, and microchip. Check back for updates as we learn more about her! Your new best friend is just one click away.
