About Annie

Meet Annie, a lovely 2-year-old cattle dog mix looking for her forever home. Rescued from less than desirable conditions where she shared space with other dogs, she’s blossoming in our care. Though a bit nervous at first, Annie warms up quickly, especially on walks with her human. She adores affection and is eager to find a family that will shower her with love for the rest of her life. Annie appears to be house trained and is ready to leave shelter life behind. We recommend meeting with any children in the household to ensure a perfect match. While we don’t have information on how she interacts with cats, a careful introduction could be beneficial. Remember the 3-3-3 rule for adopting: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to settle in, and 3 months for trust building. Annie has been spayed and is up-to-date on all vaccinations. Come visit us at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC, where we’re open for adoptions Monday through Friday 12-5 PM and Saturdays 11 AM-2 PM. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
