Pugsley is a resilient spirit who was found running down a busy roadway alongside two other dogs. While his companions fled in fear, he stayed put, ready to embrace a new chapter. This sweet boy showed his gratitude by offering cuddles during the journey to safety. Although he was held at the shelter for a stray period, no one came to reclaim him. Since arriving, Pugsley has showcased his playful nature. He met a similar-sized neutered male and couldn’t contain his excitement, barking and eagerly pulling toward his friend. Watching him zoom around with glee and bow in play is truly a heartwarming experience. Pugsley is eager to find a forever home where he is cherished and included in family life. To ensure the best fit for your family, we recommend meet-and-greets with other pets and children. Please note that we cannot guarantee how Pugsley behaves with cats. Our adoption process is first come, first served, so be ready to make a commitment you can keep. Visit us at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC, open Monday through Friday from 12-5 pm and Saturdays from 11 am-2 pm. Pugsley’s adoption fee is $80, covering neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations. Remember to bring a collar and leash or purchase a combo from us.
