Tyler Burt is a 4-5-year-old American Bulldog with a personality that's as large as his heart! He adores everyone around him—humans, dogs, and even small critters. His joy is truly inspiring, especially considering the tough past he's overcome. Found near a dump with severe injuries from a hard life on the streets, Tyler had shredded paw pads, overgrown nails, a dislocated hip, and a shattered rear hock. Yet, despite these hardships, he remains a goofy, loving companion looking for a forever home. Tyler is currently preparing for hip surgery, and he urgently needs a foster who can be by his side through recovery—ideally someone who is home a lot and can help him heal and get around safely. The right person will provide TLC, follow his care plan, assist with gentle exercises, and possibly explore swimming therapy post-surgery. You don’t need to be a medical expert, just someone with patience and plenty of love to give. Tyler has fought hard to survive, and now he’s ready to thrive in a nurturing home. He gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs—he truly just wants to be a part of the family. Your new best friend is waiting—will it be you?
