About Onyx

Onyx is an intensely affectionate and cuddly little lady with a calm demeanor that fits well in an apartment. Though she enjoys relaxing at home, she has a playful side that emerges once the leash is on; she’s the fastest weenie in the west! Onyx thrives with an adopter who enjoys jogging, as this spirited girl loves to run. She does get along with other dogs, but has a preference for a home where she can soak up all the love and attention. With a wagging tail and a penchant for snuggling, her ideal spot is right on top of you. Rescued from a vineyard after being abandoned while heavily pregnant, she successfully raised a rainbow litter of puppies, who are also looking for their forever homes. Now it’s Onyx’s turn to be pampered like the precious girl she is. She is cat-friendly and mostly potty-trained, and she's well-mannered on leash and in the car.
