Sugar is an adorable small mixed-breed dog with a lot of Chihuahua spirit. She barks at fellow canines during walks, not out of aggression but to let them know she's on her way. A fan of car rides and cuddles, she enjoys playing with her foster sister and exploring the backyard. Sugar is a bit reserved at first but warms up to new people and loves to meet dogs of all sizes. This energetic three-year-old has GERD, requiring a daily antacid and a specific feeding schedule of small low-fat meals to manage her condition. Luckily, she enjoys her medication mixed in with pill pockets. Sugar is active and participates in daily two-mile walks with her larger foster siblings. She thrives in an environment where she can spend quality time with her humans. While another dog in the household would be great, it isn’t necessary. Sugar will be spayed before adoption.
