Koala is a young, medium-sized female mixed breed dog, born on September 11, 2025. She has a striking gray, blue, and silver coat and is house trained. Koala is not yet altered, but she is up-to-date on vaccinations. Currently residing in Raleigh, NC, she is looking for a loving family to help her thrive.

About Koala

Meet Koala, a laid-back young lady with a sweet disposition and just the right amount of playful energy. She’s over a year old but retains some puppy-like tendencies and enjoys her daily playtime to burn off that youthful exuberance. After some play, she’s often content to relax close to her humans and can be quite cuddly when she senses you're in the mood for a snuggle. Koala appears to be house-trained, having had no accidents in her foster home. She’s also started to learn basic skills like walking nicely on a leash and coming when called, but her new family will need to continue that training. Although she may be a bit hesitant about entering her crate, she allows her foster family to help her get inside without any fuss. Initially timid in new situations, Koala usually adjusts well after one or two positive experiences. She has done great around other dogs but seems much more interested in bonding with her humans. As she has yet to meet children, her comfort level with them remains unknown. Koala deserves a patient, loving family who will help her settle in, bolster her confidence, and refine her manners. In return, she offers a delightful mix of companionship, cuddles, and fun for her forever home!
