Tomato has been around dogs, children, and new adults, but he would do best with kids aged 5 and older who can give him some space during the adjustment period. While he can thrive as an only pet if someone is home most of the day, he would also benefit from having another friendly pet around, especially a dog buddy, if household members are often out. To give him a familiarity boost, we recommend adopting him alongside a littermate. This will provide the companionship he needs to feel confident and offer mental and social stimulation as he continues to grow.
