About Cody
Cody is a delightfully easygoing guy who just wants to soak up love while lounging around. He’s perfectly content taking a nap on a big dog bed while life goes on around him. This 6.5-year-old French Bulldog has faced chaos in his past as a breeder release, yet he has emerged as a gentle soul, ready for a home that will shower him with the affection he deserves. He enjoys following his humans, keeping a watchful but relaxed eye on everything happening around him. Cody is great with other dogs and cohabits easily with all sorts in his foster home. While he hasn’t quite mastered socialization yet, he’s starting to join in the fun, occasionally hopping and chasing with his furry friends. He’s also unfazed by the presence of cats and engages playfully with squeaky toys. There is a small quirk, though—Cody loves to shred towels and clothes left on the floor, a habit from his boredom in the kennel. However, he's showing improvement in choosing toys instead! This gentle lad is progressing well with potty training. He does have some marking issues, but his upcoming neuter will significantly help. Though Cody is still getting accustomed to being left alone and can be anxious in the crate, he sleeps soundly next to his foster or on a comfy dog bed at night. He embodies a calm attachment with his humans, enjoying quiet moments by their side rather than demanding constant attention. Cody is ready for a loving home that appreciates his chilled vibes and adorable smoosh face. Cody's adoption fee is waived and includes necessary veterinary care like neutering, vaccinations, and more. If you're seeking a loving, easygoing companion for some special quiet moments, reach out or fill out an adoption application to meet him!
