About August

Meet August, a 8-year-old Domestic Short Hair. He arrived at the shelter from a difficult situation where he spent most of his life in a cat carrier with little care. Unfortunately, this has left him nearly blind and with impaired depth perception. As a result, he's learning to navigate his new surroundings and would do better in a quiet home where he can take his time adjusting. August is affectionate and can get along with other cats. He loves to be around people, although he gets startled easily if touched unexpectedly. With patience and understanding, he will learn to trust and bond with his future family. August needs a loving home where he can feel secure and comfortable. He deserves a chance at a happy life outside of a cage. If you have the patience to give August the time he needs to adapt, please come and meet him. Your kindness can help him flourish. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
