She is located in Walker, MI and is up to date on vaccinations. Dolly weighs a healthy amount as she continues to recover and gain strength, demonstrating a loving and loyal nature.
About Dolly
Meet Dolly! This small gal has come a long way from her rough start and is eager for someone to show her just how special she is. Found severely emaciated and matted behind a dumpster, she struggled to see and walk due to her weakened condition. Thanks to our team's dedication, Dolly has transformed from an ailing dog into a spirited companion who is learning to enjoy life again. Now, at around 3-4 years old, Dolly is doing well with house training. She enjoys the company of other dogs but prefers not to share food, making a no-kid household ideal for her. Our dream for her is to find an only-pet home, where her people are either working from home or retired and can dedicate quality time to her. Dolly bonds deeply and loves to follow her humans around, often curled up in their laps. Although she may not currently resemble the typical fluffy Shih Tzu, her resilient spirit shines through and will soon be matched by her gorgeous coat.
