She was rescued from the streets where she faced some tough challenges early in her life, but now she’s ready to find her forever family. Gina enjoys the company of her dog friends and loves to play tug of war with her small dog siblings. While she’s friendly with small dogs, she can be wary of larger dogs, having had a rough encounter previously, so slow introductions are key. Gina has a high energy level and thrives in an active environment, preferably with a family that loves to play and engage with her daily. She has not been around children in foster care yet, but we suggest dog-savvy kids aged 10 and up due to her excitement and playful spirit. This lovely girl does well in crates and is house trained, making her a great fit for a family seeking a fun companion. Gina lives for toys, often gathering them into her bed, and she enjoys playing fetch. However, she can be a bit jumpy, so consistent training and positive socialization are essential.
