About Hayden

Meet Hayden, a resilient Shepherd who has transformed her life after a tough time surviving alone in the desert. Rescued in August at just 3–4 years old, she was severely dehydrated and underweight. Now, as she approaches October, she’s a healthy 65 pounds, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Having undergone a week of professional training, Hayden has shown that she can coexist comfortably with dogs of all sizes and even seems at ease around cats. Slow introductions are recommended; she thrives best in the company of friendly and reliable dogs to help her navigate new friends. While she may feel unsure at first, Hayden is not aggressive and, with time and patience, blossoms into a loving companion. Belly rubs, playing catch, and staying by your side are a few of her favorite things. She requires regular exercise and mental stimulation, as is typical for a German Shepherd. A secure backyard would be ideal for her. Hayden is the type of dog that will appreciate the love and safety of her forever home. Whether that’s with a family, an individual, or even a child looking for a canine friend, she has a special way of showing gratitude and trust. Let’s help her find the family she truly deserves.
