Meet Jim! He's a charming 40-pound male Pit Bull/Hound mix currently in a foster home in Pembroke, MA. Jim was born on April 20, 2026, and he's got an adorable little nub for a tail that adds to his endearing personality. Jim is a cautious yet curious puppy. As he settles in, his adventurous side starts to shine. He enjoys playful bursts of energy but also loves relaxing on the couch. His favorite activities include chasing balls, enjoying treats, and exploring the yard with his favorite humans. At home, Jim lives with two smaller senior dogs and gets along well with them, occasionally inviting them to play. He shares his space with children ages 2, 4, and 6, and even interacts with infants; he does well but needs guidance to manage his excitement during play. Though he's working on house training with just a few accidents, Jim has shown that he understands the need to go outside, sometimes scratching at the door. He's also quiet and well-behaved in his crate during downtime. Jim is making great strides in his training. He walks without pulling, though he may require a little encouragement to keep moving. He greets visitors with enthusiasm and is currently learning to keep all four paws on the floor—puppy energy can get the best of him! He has some quirky habits, like prancing around the yard, bunny-hopping onto the couch, and amusingly talking to himself while rolling on his back.
