Meet Chelsea! AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER, ADOPTION, OR FOSTER TO ADOPT Chelsea is currently in Tennessee and is eligible for BFAR’s Foster to Adopt program. Chelsea is a 14-month-old mixed breed who weighs approximately 37 pounds. PERSONALITY: Chelsea is a sweet, playful young dog with a moderate to high energy level. She loves spending time with people and is always ready for an adventure, whether it is a walk, a hike, or a game in the yard. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and fun-loving personality really shines. Chelsea can be a little shy when meeting new people but warms up with time and patience. OTHER DOGS: Chelsea enjoys the company of other dogs and could do well with a canine companion following successful introductions. CHILDREN: Because of Chelsea’s playful energy, we believe she would do best with children ages 12 and older. CATS: Chelsea has not been cat tested. BACKGROUND: Chelsea was found wandering as a stray and arrived underweight. With proper care and plenty of love, she has made a wonderful transformation and is ready to leave that part of her life behind. BEST FIT: Chelsea needs an active family that will include her in walks, adventures, and playtime. As a young dog, she will benefit from continued training, structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
