Meet Caramel. Her story is one of resilience and second chances. Abandoned while pregnant, she bravely gave birth to ten puppies in the harsh Texas heat without shelter or care. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan found her and her little family, leading to their rescue and the beginning of Caramel's healing journey. Initially, Caramel showed signs of severe neglect, with a matted coat infested with ticks and visible sores from her struggles. With dedicated care, her condition improved, and today she is thriving in her foster home. At around two years old, Caramel weighs approximately 48 pounds and is a charming blend of Terrier and Labradoodle. Now house trained and playful, Caramel has developed a gentle and sweet temperament. She interacts wonderfully with other dogs and cats, seemingly grateful for every affection. After nurturing her babies to find their forever homes, it’s time for Caramel to find her own loving family. She has overcome so much and is ready to share her love with a new friend.
