About Honey Bear
Honey Bear has seen some tough times but has held onto her gentle spirit. At three years old, this medium-sized terrier mix spent her early days surviving under an abandoned house, raising pups, and doing her best on the streets. With her small frame and short, apricot coat, she stands out for her resilience and quiet charm. Initially reserved, Honey Bear needs a patient hand and a calm home to show her softer side. Her crate brings her comfort, and she will always choose a nap on your couch over a walk in the park. Once she comes out of her shell, she’s all about the cuddles. She’s been spayed and is up to date on vaccines, plus she’s leash trained and house trained—she just takes life at her pace. She does not get along with cats but tolerates kids and gets along with easygoing dogs. The ideal person for Honey Bear is someone who values quiet, routine evenings and has a gentle touch—a retired person or anyone who appreciates a slow, cozy lifestyle will find her a great match.
