About Chato
Meet Chato! Chato is a delightful dog with a heart as big as his personality. Born on November 17, 2018, he thrives on human companionship and makes everyone feel special. Whether you're busy in the kitchen or lounging on the couch, he’ll be right by your side, ready to share kisses and warmth. This gentle soul has a calm demeanor, making him the perfect companion. Chato enjoys his walks and loves to play with stuffed toys, but he's equally content curling up for a cozy nap. He's fully house trained and can relax at home even when left alone. Chato is fantastic with children, relishing their company and affection. He also gets along well with other dogs, befriending everyone from tiny Chihuahuas to playful Huskies. Plus, he's cat-friendly, too, happily accepting love from his feline pals. Despite having some medical quirks—Cerebellar Hypoplasia causes him to wobble as he walks, and a slight deformity makes him walk on his ankles—Chato doesn’t let anything slow him down. He takes daily medication to manage mild hypothyroidism, which is easy to handle. Chato has a few amusing habits, including collecting socks and being a fan of food, especially watermelon. His ideal home includes other friendly dogs or kids, but more than anything, Chato seeks a loving family that will reciprocate his affectionate nature.
