Meet Zella! Zella is a gentle puppy with a resilient spirit, eager to find the loving family she’s always deserved. Born around March 1, 2026, this young, medium-sized dog is seeking a patient home where she can continue to build her confidence. Zella's journey started in Nexquipayac, Mexico, where she was born to a stray mother. When she was only one month old, Zella and her brother were left abandoned in a debris-filled lot. Fortunately, dedicated volunteers from Happy Pawtitas found them just in time, giving Zella a second chance at life. Since her rescue, Zella has received essential care; she’s fully vaccinated, including rabies, dewormed, and spayed. Now she’s healthy and ready for her forever home. Though she can be a bit shy initially, Zella's affectionate personality quickly shines through. Once comfortable, she loves to give kisses, play fetch, and enjoy belly rubs. Like any playful puppy, she has a curious side, making her a delightful companion for a family willing to help her learn and grow. Zella will do best in a home that understands puppies need patience and positive reinforcement.
