Toast is a 1.5-year-old female Shepherd, medium-sized and colored in yellow, tan, and blond. She is altered and up to date on vaccinations. Located in Brainerd, MN, she'll thrive in an active home.

About Toast

Toast is a lively lady with a heart of gold. Initially a bit timid, she reveals her snuggly, smart, and sassy personality with time. Currently recovering from ACL surgery, she's eagerly awaiting her forever home. Toast adores cuddling and is making great strides in learning basic manners, impulse control, and socialization. She's friendly with other dogs but can be a bit pushy with the more submissive ones. Good with cats, she does take her time warming up to new people, so patience with introductions works wonders. Although she's fully housetrained and crate trained, she’s still mastering leash skills. With her high energy and drive, Toast needs an active home—or someone willing to give her a job to keep her engaged. Her recovery means she won’t be ready for adoption until at least six weeks post-op (around October 27th). The adoption fee is $425, which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip, and any additional care provided while with the rescue. Click apply to start the adoption process.
