About Charlie
Charlie is a 9- to 10-month-old male mixed-breed dog, primarily a Bahamian Potcake with likely Catahoula Leopard and Hound ancestry. He’s a quiet soul who gradually works his way into your heart. Initially shy and a bit skittish with newcomers, he forms deep bonds once trust is established. With the right patience and understanding, Charlie will flourish. He enjoys cozy comforts, from pillows to soft blankets, and loves hanging out with dog pals. Although he’s discovered pool lounging, full swimming may take some time. As a young pup, Charlie still needs guidance with basic training and is making good progress with potty training and leash walking. He found his way to us from the streets of the Bahamas alongside his best friend, Arnie. While they'd love to stay together, adoption isn't mandatory. If you have a warm couch and a gentle spirit to share, Charlie could be the right fit for you. For those in the Central Florida/Orlando area who think they may be the perfect family for Charlie (and probably Arnie), we encourage you to apply!
