Polyester, or Polly, is a delightful 3-year-old female mix of French Bulldog and American Staffordshire Terrier. Weighing about 35 lbs and adorned in a stunning gray, blue, and silver coat, she is ready for a loving home. Polly gets along well with smaller dogs and those up to 60 lbs, though she can be a bit sassy around larger pups. Her playful spirit shines as she’s learning to join in with the little dogs at her foster home. While she's good at sharing with smaller dogs, she prefers to establish boundaries with dominant dogs. Meal times are a serious affair for Polly; she insists on eating in peace, using a slow feeder to enjoy her meals without any interruptions. When it comes to cats, Polly is not a fan. She finds chasing them to be incredibly fun, so it’s probably best for her to find a cat-free home. However, she has been fine around children aged 6–8, especially those who pamper her with affection. Fully house-trained, Polly has also shown she can hold it well, though she's not a big fan of crates. Though she can't manage strenuous exercise due to her breed characteristics, she enjoys casual companionship at home. Polly has previously had polyps removed from her ears, and ongoing ear care will be essential to monitor her health.
