Dakota is a young male Catahoula mix, about 6 months old. He has a medium size and a yellow/tan coat. Dakota is already neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. He is good with dogs and children, making him an ideal family pet. Currently located in Rochester, MN, he’s ready to find his forever home.

Meet Dakota! This adorable Catahoula mix puppy has a charming personality and a little nub tail that's just about the cutest thing you’ll see. Rescued from a high-kill shelter in Kansas, Dakota has quickly adjusted to his new surroundings and is ready for his forever home. Dakota is an energetic boy with a love for fun. He enjoys playing fetch and tug, and he’s looking for an active family to include him in walks, adventures, and plenty of playtime. He walks nicely on a leash with only minimal pulling, showing off some great potential. While he sleeps well in his kennel, he may whine a bit as he settles down. Like many young pups, Dakota is still learning his manners and we're working on teaching him that jumping up and mouthing aren’t the best ways to greet people. This friendly and playful pup is eager to be part of a loving family. With ongoing training, lots of exercise, and plenty of affection, Dakota is sure to be a wonderful companion.
