People are her absolute favorites; she warmly greets everyone she meets! Currently, Valkyrie is undergoing treatment for valley fever, which the rescue covers until her titer is back to normal. She has triumphed over earlier hardships, such as distemper, and now sports a unique smile that adds to her charm. While she may need some dental work in the near future, Val has adjusted beautifully to life as an indoor dog and enjoys all the comforts that come with it. She's house trained, knows basic commands, and loves swimming and walking.
