Carl Grimes is a double merle, 8-month-old cuddle monster who brings joy to everyone around him. He’s partially blind and deaf, yet he navigates his world with grace. Weighing in at just 33 pounds, Carl is fully convinced he’s a lap dog and loves to snuggle. Carl joined North Texas Australian Shepherd Rescue after being rescued from a shelter. He’s a vibrant soul, absolutely obsessed with life. Whether it's meeting new people, playing with other dogs, or receiving toys and treats, he dives in headfirst, leaving no fun untouched. Although a little shy when meeting new pups, he warms up quickly and is ready to play. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Carl is an ideal office buddy, often supervising Zoom calls from the comfort of your lap. Despite having had a seizure, he's currently on medication and has had no further episodes. Carl is not looking for pity; he thrives on love, play, and attention. He’ll be the affectionate, goofy companion you didn’t know you needed. This happy pup is ready for his forever home.
