Meet Rusk 💙. Born in May 2026, this playful 12-pound bundle of joy is part of our East Texas crew. Rusk, along with his mom Trinity and her puppies, found their way to us from a small shelter after being surrendered. This little guy's enthusiasm for life is contagious! Rusk is curious, smart, and ready to join you in any adventure. He has excellent recall, walks nicely on a leash, and is already mastering commands like sit and stay. With medium energy, he enjoys lively outdoor play but knows how to unwind—after some playtime, you’ll find him curled up by your feet, perfectly content. Water is another of his loves; he adores his kiddie pool! He’s getting used to the company of horses, goats, cats, and children. While he finds goats interesting, he doesn’t chase them. Rusk thinks cats are the best and is learning to respect their boundaries. He absolutely adores kids and is honing his listening skills around them. With his impressive house manners, Rusk has been accident-free since day one. During crate time, he sleeps soundly from about 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. This little fella is eager to be your sidekick, ready to learn and play every step of the way. 💙 Ready to meet your new best friend?
