Meet Nala, a stunning Poodle mix looking for her forever home. At about 1 year old and weighing 28.6 pounds, she's a slender girl with plenty of love to give. Although she arrived a bit matted, her short haircut will grow back beautifully, but she will need regular grooming to keep her looking her best. Nala is remarkably smart and has fantastic house manners; she’s both house and crate trained. She knows an impressive array of commands, including sit, down, and outside, and has excellent recall. At mealtimes, she patiently waits for permission before diving into her food, showcasing her cleverness. She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves people, making her a great fit for many families. However, we recommend a home without toddlers or very young children since she can get a bit excited and jumpy. Nala is energetic and loves to play, often doing best either as the only dog or with a larger canine buddy who can handle her enthusiasm. While she can jump up when excited, she quickly adapts with training and genuinely enjoys the process of learning. This girl could thrive as an agility dog or a running partner. But once the playtime is over, she’s more than happy to relax at your feet. Nala is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on preventatives.
