When our team discovered him, he was bravely standing guard over a mama dog and her five helpless puppies, refusing to leave their side. That unwavering loyalty is simply who he is. Upon being brought to safety, we expected a hesitant dog, but Sirius surprised us with his loving nature. He adores people and is known for his gentle energy and sweet face. Those little “I missed you!” kisses have won over our volunteers. Sirius isn’t just looking for affection; he craves a true connection. Fully vetted and heartworm negative, he’s doing great with house training and continues to improve his leash manners. Sirius is smart and would thrive in a home that offers consistency, structure, and plenty of quality time.
