About Winifred
Meet Winifred! Winifred is a gentle soul who has spent over a year waiting for a forever home. Rescued from rural South Texas, she was once a feral pup alongside two sisters who have since found their families. While Winifred is understandably shy and needs time to build trust, sheโs a sweet companion who will eventually snuggle up beside you at night. When morning comes, she may dart away, but itโs all part of her learning to feel safe. She enjoys being petted and is looking for a patient adopter who can show her that life can be beautiful. Winifred gets along well with other dogs and is suitable for both adults and children, making her a great fit for a retiree or a loving family. While she will snatch up any unattended food, her food aggression has improved. This low-energy girl deserves to discover the joys of home life. Can you help her on this journey? Her adoption fee is $350 and includes transport to the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast. Click apply to start the adoption process.
