Meet Atka! This gorgeous boy was discarded like he meant nothing, and found himself without a home. Trying to survive on the Houston streets was hard enough, then he ended up in a high kill shelter, counting down his deadline. With an amazing foster's help, our rescue snatched him out of there, and now he's learning that not all humans are bad. Atka was matted, but he's getting beautiful again. He wasn't neutered, but that's being taken care of. And he is heartworm positive, but we've already started the slow kill method. At just about 2 years old, Atka has many happy years ahead of him. He just needs to figure out who is worthy to spend it with - is it you? Adoption fee $550 includes transport to the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast. https://hoardinhuskies.net/dog-adoption/
