Meet Mongoose! Mongoose has journeyed far to reach FOHA, coming all the way from San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. After being hit by a car, he received the care he needed and packed his passport for a fresh start in Virginia, eager to find his forever home. This kind boy embodies politeness, calmness, and affection. He enjoys leisurely walks and basking in the sun, but his true delight comes from being close to people. Although he’s initially a bit reserved and may get startled by fast movements, Mongoose warms up quickly to those who give him time. During some quality time with staff, he loved receiving pets. To everyone's surprise, he showcased his playful side with some spirited zoomies post potty break! Mongoose gets along with dogs, cats, and children. He is crate trained and showing signs of being housebroken as he settles in. His temperament is gentle, and he’s already learned some key commands.
