About Marzipan

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Marzipan, or Marzie as her friends like to call her! Marzie is a gentle, very shy girl who takes time to feel safe and comfortable around people. In her foster home, she’s been so quiet that she hasn’t even barked in two months. She tends to get scared by loud places, people, and cars, preferring the calm sanctuary of home over bustling walks. Marzie is happiest simply being around the house, especially when she can share space with other dogs. While she doesn’t play much yet, she enjoys their calm company. She can be a bit nervous with cats and chooses to give them space. She’s already mastered being mostly housebroken, which is a big plus! This sweet Hound mix is looking for a quiet, patient home with a secure fenced yard where she can explore at her own pace. Because of her deep-rooted shyness, Marzie is considered a flight risk and will need careful supervision to keep her safe. Her adopters should understand that it will take time, patience, and plenty of gentle encouragement for Marzie to truly trust and blossom. She might be timid now, but with kindness and understanding, she’ll eventually reveal the loving companion she’s meant to be. Did you know Marzie is a Gemini? Geminis are known for their curious and gentle nature, and Marzie’s shy sweetness truly fits this sign. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
