Meet Stubz! This affectionate and playful Shepherd mix is looking for his forever home. Born around March 16, 2026, Stubz is a young pup who thrives on the company of people, and he adores belly rubs. Though he’s settled down a bit, he still has those classic puppy bursts of energy and can get mouthy when overexcited. At home, Stubz is crate trained and calms down after a few minutes. He’s still working on house training, so frequent trips outside are necessary, and nerves might cause a small accident now and then. Stubz loves outdoor adventures like hiking and running, and he enjoys digging and following his foster sister around. He does well with middle and high school-aged children but can be shy when meeting new people, often retreating initially. With time, treats, and a calm approach, he warms up nicely. Stubz gets along well with other dogs, but he plays a bit rough and may not always recognize when another dog needs a break. This energetic pup would thrive in an active home that can dedicate time to continue his training and help him build confidence.
