This playful and curious baby is not yet house trained but is vaccinated. He currently resides in Martinez, CA, and is about 8 weeks old. Although not yet altered, he is ready to bring joy and energy into a new home.
About Topaz
Topaz is an adorable, fluffy little guy with a big personality bursting with curiosity. Outgoing and bold, he always looks for the next adventure, reminding his foster mom of Snoopy with his endearing little face. Heās currently in Austin, Texas, and is available for adoption out of state, but canāt transport until heās at least 10 weeks old, around October 7, 2026. This little pup came into rescue after being born into a hoarding situation involving around 25 small dogs. His mom weighs about 15 pounds and is believed to be a mix of Chihuahua and Cocker Spaniel. While his future looks bright, we canāt accurately predict his adult appearance or size due to the mixed background. Topaz is in that vibrant puppy phase where everything is new and fascinating. He enjoys exploring, wrestling with his brothers and sisters, and then crashing hard after a day of play. Topaz is not yet house trained, crate trained, or leash trained. He requires a patient family ready to guide him with positive reinforcement and consistency. Since heās still very young, he would thrive in a home where someone is often available to help him establish routines and boost his confidence. A friendly, well-balanced dog as a role model would be especially beneficial for him. Bringing a puppy into your life is a commitment, but itās also incredibly rewarding as you watch them grow into a loving companion.
