Thumper is a small, adult, male mixed-breed dog with Cocker Spaniel heritage and a white and cream medium coat. He is house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Thumper is currently located in South San Francisco, CA, and has a gentle presence as he awaits a permanent home.

About Thumper

Thumper landed at Camp Cocker Rescue after coming out of a Riverside area shelter—tick-covered, dirty, and uncertain about where life would take him. He’s a low-rider, middle-aged mixed breed, not a pure cocker but full of underdog spirit. Recently cleared of heart issues, Thumper is waiting to see a specialist about a possible laryngeal problem. Now cleaned up and getting veterinary care, Thumper’s learning what it feels like to be safe and cared for. He’s being fostered in Los Angeles County while he finishes up medical checks. Thumper is house trained and has been around other dogs without issue. Once he gets through his vetting, he’ll need a home ready to look out for a small, sturdy companion.
