About Jasper

Jasper is a well-rounded guy with a calm demeanor, perfect for any family. At about 3 years old, this Labrador Retriever and Shepherd mix weighs around 55-60 lbs, and he is often referred to as more of a lab mix because of his adorable features. He gets along with everyone—men, women, kids, and dogs of all sizes. Although not much exposure to cats exists, he's shown a relaxed attitude towards feral cats in the area. This easy-going companion is up for anything, whether it’s a walk, a cozy cuddle on the couch, or just hanging out. With a solid energy level rated at an 8 out of 10, he's energetic but not hyper. Jasper is well-mannered and enjoys being around people, showing affection and loyalty. He appreciates food but is not greedy, enjoying treats and the occasional hot dog. Jasper’s past was rough, having been rescued from a cruelty case where he shared a crate with another dog. Despite that, he emerged friendly and adaptable. He appears to be house-trained, though it’s likely he’d pick it up quickly if not. This loving dog is ready for a fresh start and a family who appreciates the joy he brings to their lives.
