About Cashew Cash}
Cashew (affectionately called Cash or Cashy) brings a soft energy into every space. He’s a young Labrador Retriever mix rescued alongside his eleven siblings, who all got a real shot at happiness when their mom was saved on the street. Cash weighs roughly 40-45 lbs and is about as gentle and loving as they come. He sticks close to his people, preferring to shadow his humans from room to room and settle in for cuddles wherever possible. He’s smart—already knows how to sit, shake, lie down, and go to his place thanks to professional training. Crate and house training are locked in, and he’s good on leash—his initial excitement gives way to an easy pace pretty quickly. Cash is social with dogs and cats alike and shines best in a home with other animals to connect with. He enjoys a good game of chase, shows off with zoomies, and thrives with plenty of play. New situations or loud noises can make him pause since he missed some early socialization. He warms up steadily with a patient, calm approach and encouragement. A home that’s calm and celebrates small wins will help him reach his potential. Cash especially clicks with active, dog-savvy women or couples. He’s loyal, intelligent, and desperately wants to be someone’s steady companion—a true velcro dog ready to grow into the best version of himself. Fun fact: Born October 6, Cashew is a Libra, which might explain his mellow, sweet balance. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
