About Skittles
Meet Skittles, a sleek gray-and-white tabby with a lively spirit and a strong love for snacks. Though she was born in mid-May and came into rescue with a spirited bunch of littermates, Skittles is maturing into her own unique personality. While she’s still a bit wary of being touched, she's starting to realize that spending time with her humans can be quite enjoyable. You might catch her cuddling next to you on the couch, only to scamper away when she remembers you’re actually touching her! Skittles is a treat-loving cat, especially fond of Churu treats and freeze-dried minnows. If you’re lounging on the couch, don’t be surprised to have her silently staring at you, urging you to fulfill your role as the Treat Dispenser. She thrives with feline companionship, getting along well with the other cats in her foster home, and is also dog-friendly. Active and playful, Skittles is still learning that human hands and feet aren’t toys. Because of her spunky nature, a home with young children might not be the best fit. Skittles would do best with an owner who can offer her patience and the right outlets for her energy while guiding her to understand gentle interactions. She’s on a journey from spicy kitten to a cherished companion, and she’s ready to find a loving home that will support her along the way. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
