Meet Mule! Mule was trapped as a stray after living in a cat colony in Hastings, and she’s still learning that people can be gentle and safe. At approx. 1 year old (as of November 20245), she’s a very nervous girl at first, but with slow, patient interactions, she’ll begin to accept pets and show her soft, cautious affection. She just needs someone willing to meet her where she is and let her grow at her own pace. A home with another friendly cat would be ideal — she finds comfort in feline companionship and tends to relax more when she has another kitty to follow. Mule is tidy in the litter box, loves a comfy hideaway bed, and can often be found perched on the highest level of the cat tower, quietly watching the world go by outside the window. She also has a playful side and enjoys darting through toy tunnels when she feels safe. Mule may take time to open up, but she has a gentle spirit and so much potential. With patience, understanding, and a calm home (plus a feline friend!), she’ll slowly blossom into a wonderful companion. -- Mule has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Mule has been spayed and microchipped as part of the adoption fee. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed.
