Meet Shadow! He’s a fun, playful, and affectionate guy who gets a kick out of toys, walks, and car rides. Shadow enjoys snuggling up at night and being the center of attention. He has lived harmoniously with other dogs but also cherishes his one-on-one time with his human companions. However, he needs a home without children under 12 because of a history of guarding high-value items and his sensitivity to handling. Shadow may grumble if he feels uncomfortable, so a patient household that can appreciate his boundaries and continue positive training is essential. He pulls hard on the leash and will need ongoing leash training; a front-clip harness could help during this journey. While he may get vocal when seeking affection and bark at other dogs, a calm, structured environment will aid in his adjustment.
