About Chico: The Big Softie

Chico: The Big Softie is a substantial cat, tipping the scales at eighteen pounds. Initially a bit shy, he comes out of his shell once his brother Chester gives him the nod. This gentle giant enjoys lounging, observing his surroundings, and has a flair for the dramatic when it comes to carrier trips—his protests are legendary. Sweet and emotionally sensitive, Chico craves a stable home where he and Chester can thrive together. After losing their previous human, both were adopted together but found themselves bounced around until they returned to the rescue. Despite the upheaval, they've always had each other, and it’s crucial they stay bonded. If you appreciate a calm companion with a touch of whimsicality, Chico might just be your perfect match. Just don’t expect him to hop in a carrier without a fair bit of fuss. Chico is currently in a loving foster home, has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been neutered. This adoption could be the beginning of something wonderful. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
