Ollie
AvailableOllie is a 3-year and 5-month-old male Schnauzer mixed breed. He stands in the medium size range and is currently in Jamul, CA. Ollie is altered and has his vaccinations up to date. He is looking for a temporary foster home while he recovers from surgery, needing a quiet space for rehabilitation and some extra love.
About Ollie
Meet Ollie, a resilient soul with a spirit that shines despite his past struggles. Spotted crossing Highway 94 near Tecate, he was rescued from a tangled situation that left him limping and hopping on his hind legs. Unfortunately, x-rays revealed an old, fractured pelvis that never healed correctly. Now, Ollie requires surgery, along with rehab and physical therapy, and we are seeking a medical foster to guide him through this journey. Ollie brims with pure joy. He's playful, loving, and genuinely happy when surrounded by his people. His incredible spirit is contagious, and he's eager for attention and affection. Ollie's treat motivation will make physical therapy a bit more bearable for him, as he truly wants to be part of whatever you're doing. He'll need a quiet environment where he can recover, ideally with someone who can commit to his rehabilitation plan and spend daily time on his prescribed physical therapy to help him regain strength. Ollie requires a designated space away from other dogs during this healing process. This is not a permanent commitment; rather, it’s an opportunity to help Ollie regain his health and prepare for the life he deserves. If you find that this lovable pup has captured your heart during his stay, we won't complain if you decide to keep him. Are you ready to help Ollie take his next steps towards recovery?
