About Parsnip
Meet Parsnip! This sweet girl made her way to Minnesota just before her first birthday, arriving from Alabama with her brother, Hardy. While adjusting to life indoors has been a challenge for her, she's been embracing the changes with surprising grace. With a new household that includes two teenagers and a cat, Parsnip is discovering the joys of cozy couches and the fun of toys. Parsnip can get a bit anxious when left alone, showing her nervous side with a little barking. She’s still learning that time alone isn’t forever and that a kennel is just a safe space. Parsnip currently lives with a cat but gives her plenty of space, and having a dog companion might ease her nerves further. She’s very polite and learning house rules, accepting gentle reminders well. Though she's still figuring out leash walks, once outside, she enjoys calm strolls, stopping to sniff everything without pulling. If you're patient and ready to teach her the wonderful aspects of indoor life, Parsnip is eager to meet you, even if she might need a little time to warm up.
