About Daliah
Meet Daliah! This lovely 5-year-old girl came to UPAWS after an unexpected change in her family’s housing situation. Daliah is playful and has a wonderfully gentle heart. She lived with four children, including two who were born after she joined the family, and she thrived through all their stages of growth. Her previous family shared that she enjoys playtime, walks, swimming, long hikes, and, most importantly, the attention of her loved ones. Though she can be a bit shy around new faces and may feel uncertain with loud noises, a little patience goes a long way. Once comfortable, Daliah loves to lean in for affection and be close to her people. She is crate trained, knows commands, and is well-behaved at home. While she has successfully lived with another large dog, she may require some time to warm up to unfamiliar dogs. A meet and greet with resident dogs is advised. Her history with cats isn’t known. Daliah seeks a kind, patient family that will create a safe and loving environment for her. Bring your family and resident dog to meet this sweet girl—she might be just the companion you've been looking for!
