About Cheddar
Meet Cheddar, a precious girl who has recently come into our care. She arrived needing urgent medical attention due to injuries affecting both front paws. Our team has initiated her recovery process, and sheβs now looking for a devoted adopter willing to support her healing journey. Cheddar has received splinting for a severe fracture in her right front leg and her left front paw is bandaged for a fracture of the fourth toe. With ongoing care from San Diego Humane Society, adopters can expect bandage changes every few days initially, tapering off as her wounds heal. All necessary surgeries, like possible amputation, will be covered by the shelter if needed within three months. Adopters are encouraged to consult with a veterinary surgeon for any additional options they may consider. Even with these challenges, Cheddar is a resilient companion ready to complete her healing journey. If you're preparing to meet her, please bring a carrier for her adoption day. Together, you can make a difference in her life. Your new best friend is just one click away.
