Meet Misty, a playful and curious 10-year-old terrier mix, weighing in at 27 lbs, who is ready to find her forever home. This sweet, happy girl loves her people and enjoys being part of the action. Initially timid, she quickly warms up with a toss of her favorite toy or a few ear scratches. Misty can play fetch all day, loves exploring new scents on walks, and is comfortable being home alone as well as with her family around. While she does shed a bit and isn't hypoallergenic, Misty enjoys being brushed, and you'll want to cuddle with her soft fur. A true fashionista, she loves to show off her outfits. Extremely smart, she's quick to learn basic commands, is crate trained, and housebroken. She avoids jumping on furniture and people and makes a great road trip companion, sitting nicely in the back seat. Misty does have some IVDD, causing mild weakness in her back legs, but this doesn’t stop her from enjoying playful activities. She'll thrive in a home that encourages her moderate exercise while building her strength, and a securely fenced yard would be ideal. Currently fostered in a ranch-style home, she may need to adjust slowly to stairs. Misty is spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed.
