Hubba Bubba is a 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a playful and goofy personality. This affectionate boy adores people and brings a spirited enthusiasm to everything he does. He joined the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center in early July and has been through two adoptions that didn’t work out due to factors unrelated to his behavior. One adopter found they weren’t ready for a dog, while the other realized he and their resident dog were not a suitable match. Despite these setbacks, Hubba Bubba has shown us he thrives with the right family. A fan of walks and exploring, he’s also quite the water lover, having a blast splashing in his water bowl after a stroll. Hubba Bubba knows basic commands like “sit” and “lay down,” takes treats gently, and settles down nicely. He does well with young children and has successfully met other dogs, making him a great candidate for a family. We recommend all household members meet Hubba Bubba at the shelter before bringing him home. A gradual introduction period will help him adjust to his new surroundings.
